Tudek Dog Park Opens!
On Friday, September 8, Lynn Herman, The Tudeks, Tom Griffiths and Judy
Albin welcomed a large crowd of dogs and their owners to Tudek Dog Park.
Representative Herman presented a check from the state for $5000 to the
park and helped cut a ribbon and open the gates to the public.
MANY thanks are due to everyone who showed up. See
centredaily.com
for the story that was FRONT PAGE news in Saturday's Centre Daily Times.
Park Opening September 8
Join us on Friday, September 8 at 9:30am as Lynn Herman will present a
check from the state for $5000 to Tudek Dog Park.
Please take an hour or two off from work to be at the park with your dog(s)
and show your appreciation to Rep. Herman for this generous contribution.
A large turnout of owners and dogs will go a long way in providing good
press for the park. . . and some members of the media will be there.
The lock will also be coming off of the small dog area and everyone will
be free to enjoy a portion of the park!

brought their owners out.
June 10 & 11 Dog Park Events Raise $800
The dog wash, dog park and flea market on June 10 & 11 raised $800
for Tudek Dog Park. Despite a very cool Saturday and a light turnout at
the dog wash, lots of dogs were able to enjoy the dog park. Everyone was
encouraged by the building demolition and grading on site and excited
to hear that fence installation will begin shortly. Stay tuned here as
we'll be announcing other summer events soon!
Building Demolition Completed
A portion of Phase I has been completed! Demoltion of a portion of an
onsite building, grading and seeding was completed in early June 2006.
The next major project is fence installation—slated to begin mid-June.
